How Do You Make A Wine Cork Wreath?
What do you do with all those corks, wonderful bottles of wine? Make a wreath to hang in your kitchen, your bar, your dining room, or give as a gift. Buy supplies from any craft store, and if you don’t have enough corks, go to wine bars, restaurants, or even recycling places. Insert a round toothpick into the cork at the top end, as far as you can. If it goes all the way through, either aim it toward the side so the pick sticks, or you may want to use a bit of white craft glue and hold it in place until the glue sets. With the wreath laying on the work surface, put the cork into the side, near the table. Continue putting toothpicks into corks and inserting them into the wreath around the bottom of the wreath near the surface. If you are short of corks, you can arrange them with more space between, or go to your local wine store and ask for corks. Or drink more wine.
