How Do You Make A Wine Bottle Table Lamp?
I’m going to tell you how to make your own wine bottle table lamp. This can be modified to suit the colors in your home and looks great. The process is pretty simple. Be sure to read all warnings and follow the directions with the lamp kit. With your clean wine bottle figure out where you want the electrical wire to come out from, I put mine on the back side and up from the base about two inches. With the drill setting on slow drill the 1/4 inch hole, stop frequently to keep the bit and glass from over heating. As you’re drilling the hole stop and wipe the area with soapy water. Once the hole is drilled wash out the bottle again to get all of the dust out of the bottle. Feed the wire thru the base and pull it out of the top, pull out an extra 2-3 inches so you can do the wiring. Starting with the bottle on its side feed the decor marbles into the bottle, on mine I put enough marbles in to come to the top of the front label. This helps keep the weight at the base of the lamp.
