How Do You Make A Windows 98 SE Boot Disk Copy?
A boot disk is a disk that will allow you to bypass some of the initialization functions in Windows ME. Boot disks are useful tools that will help you troubleshoot start up problems. A boot disk works by placing it in your disk drive then starting your computer. Your computer will load the contents of your boot disk before the information on your hard drive. Creating a boot disk can be achieved in several easy steps and takes about five minutes. Click on the “Start” button then open up your system’s “Control Panel.” Click on the “Add or Remove Programs” icon then click on the “Startup Disk” option. Place your floppy disk in to your disk drive then click on the “Create disk” button. Windows may ask you to enter your installation CD, if it does, insert your Windows ME installation disk.
