These are simple (no sew) yet elegant curtains for a bedroom or living room. They puddle onto the floor and drape nicely at the window. You will need a smaller diameter dowel 1 inch (curtains are not heavy). Cut to the width of your window plus how much you want to extend past your window. Stain the rod by applying preferred stain with a soft cloth and rubbing the dowel until you have the desired effect. Drill holes on either sides of the window in the wall. Insert the plastic anchors. Screw in the rod holder. Depending on the width of your window, fold the muslin in half by either it’s width or it’s length to achieve a length of 1 1/2 times the length of the window. The muslin law comes in wide widths, so you most likely will need to just fold over, ending up with two thicknesses of the muslin lawn. Using curtain clips, clip the muslin along this fold, leaving an equal distance between the clips. Thread the rings onto the dowel and place dowel in the rod holder. Spread the rings so th
