In this How-to article, you will learn how to make a vaporizer using a lightbulb and a few other everyday household items. As vaporizers come in many different styles and price ranges, this lesson attempts to provide a strategy for making one that is the cheapest and most cost-effective. Step 1 Put on your safety gloves. Turn the light bulb toward you so that the butt end of the metal fitting faces you. Identify the metal contact plate (often a gold color) and remove it by positioning the scissors around the plate and applying pressure while slowly rotating the bulb. Step 2 Dig into the hole where the place once rested with one blade of the scissors. Rotate the bulb in your other hand while digging with the scissors. This will grind down the filament protection (usually black) and break all of the glass filament support within the bulb.
