How Do You Make A Valentines Day Box?
Help your children make a Valentine’s Day box to collect all of those cards they’ll receive from friends. Make your box as big or small as you like, and let your children use their creativity to design the container. Choose a container to make your Valentine’s Day box out of. Select a shoe box, small box, large tag board, coffee can or use two pieces of construction paper. Find as many pink and red pieces of paper, crayons paints and markers as you can. Valentine’s Day is known for its shades of red. Paint the box or cover it in a layer of pink or red paper. Use glitter, ribbon and cookie cutters to create different heart shapes on the Valentine’s box. Use scrapbooking materials to decorate the container. Cut a hole on the top of the box. Make sure you have a large enough hole to fit a full size envelope. Create special additions for your box. Make a flag out of paper and a popsicle stick. Turn your box into an animal by adding ears, eyes, a nose and tail. Write the Valentine recipient
