Making a unique bulletin board is a wonderful weekend project that requires little material and just a little crafting technique. Many shapes and sizes as well as themes can be considered when choosing a final design. Decide on a specific design for the bulletin board. Think about its final location and purpose. Cut the appropriate backing material for the bulletin board in desired shape and size. Backing material can be cork or even just rigid cardboard. Any material that will allow strength for hanging and will accept push pins is required. Cut out fabric to cover backing material. This fabric can be just about anything, yet burlap is a common choice. If stuffing the fabric for a pillow type effect, allow for extra fabric.
