How Do You Make A Tulle Bridal Bow?
With some very inexpensive tulle fabric, you can make fluffy tulle bridal bows for your wedding or bridal shower. Each bow requires one yard of 54-inch wide fabric. The bows could be tacked onto fabric, such as the tablecloth for the head table, or attached with a thin ribbon to church pews, flower vases, baskets and many other items. Cut 12-inch wide tulle strips in lengths of 36 inches, 24 inches, 22 inches, 18 inches and 15 inches. Set the 36-inch piece aside. Fold the 24-inch strip in half lengthwise by bringing raw edges to the center. Holding lengthwise, fold in place, bringing each short end to the center. See Fig. 1. Pinch together at center and tack with thread to hold. Repeat for each of the other three short strips. Fold the 36-inch strip in half lengthwise twice. Stack the bows in descending order by size in the center of the strip. Wrap the long strip around the bows and tie. Cut the ends of the strip on an angle. Fluff the ends of the bow.
