A trellis necklace is a multi-strand necklace crocheted using Lion Brand Trellis yarn. Trellis yarn is a novelty yarn that combines ribbon and thread in a colorful ladder pattern. Although Trellis yarn is officially discontinued at Lion Brand, you can find balls of it at retailers and online stores that still have stock and at auction sites from second hand sellers. You can also use another ribbon yarn with similar qualities, such as NuMei Mosaic, Plymouth Eros or Herwool ladder yarns to create a trellis-style necklace.
