Select the location for the squash trellis by placing it in an area with plenty of sun and good soil. You can erect this trellis first and then make your squash hill or wait until the plants break through the soil. Lay the woven wire on the ground and weave one of the1-inch pieces of conduit lengthwise through the wire openings. The metal pipe should be laced through the wire on the outer edge of the fencing.
