These funny polymer clay faces make any tree come to life. They can be made as small or as large as you need to make them to fit your tree. They are fairly simple to make as well. Why not give your favorite tree a little personality! Condition 3 parts brown clay with one part tan clay. Divide clay into 3 even pieces. With one section, roll the clay into two identical balls to form outside of eyes. Make a depression in the middle of each to place eye balls. Next form a nose shape with one piece. Use the last piece to make a mouth. Simulate bark on clay by pressing clay with tree bark or a bark-like texture stamp. Be careful not to distort shapes when adding texture to your clay. Bend each piece of wire to form a “U” shape with pliers. Carefully turn shapes over and insert this wire hook into each piece. Bake according to package directions.
