How Do You Make A Traditional Greek Frappe?
Frappé is one of the most favourite refreshing drinks amongst the Greek culture. It is quite simple to make, and you will find it to be especially good for you in the hot summer. • Take a tall glass, instant coffee (Nescafé original), sugar, milk, cold water, some ice cubes, a teaspoon, a straw, and a shaker or a mixer specially designed for frappé. • Put as many tea spoons of instant coffee and sugar as you’d like in the glass (sugar is not required, it just makes it sweeter but use at least one full teaspoon of instant coffee). • Then add minimum water in the glass just to cover the sugar and coffee you previously added. • Add two ice cubes in the shaker and close tight. • Take the shaker, and shake aggressively with a fast tempo so that the contents get mixed up to form dark foam. • Open the shaker and pour its contents in the tall glass. • Then add more ice cubes, water, and milk.
