Making topiaries is a wonderful hobby that is relaxing and results in something that will beautify your home, inside or out. Start by picking your plant for your tree topiary. You can start with a tree like a ficus. If you start with a small inexpensive one at a nursery or home center, it might start out looking like a bush.
