You don’t have to buy the Tech Deck accessories from the hobby store to make a Tech Deck skate park. Instead, you can build one with inexpensive items that may be laying around your house. Cut the lid off the cardboard box; trim the sides to 5 inches tall all the way around the box. This will be your skate park enclosure, which will help keep your Tech Decks from rolling away and getting lost. It will also provide sturdy walls to anchor the ramps. Place two sealed packs of 3 by 5-inch index cards in the enclosure, vertically with the short sides facing up. Mark the midpoint of two side walls opposite one another. Place one pack of cards at each midpoint. Tape them to the walls. Cut two 3 by 6-inch rectangles out of your card stock.
