A table skirt is a great way to cover an unsightly table, or provides a great storage space solution for smaller items such as books. A table skirt is like a table cloth, but it covers the table entirely and hangs to the floor so you can’t see the legs of the table, or anything that may be sitting underneath the table. A table skirt can be loud and colorful, or a subtle addition to your décor, but either way can definitely add something to any room in your home. Measure from the floor up across the table, and then down to the floor on the other side. Add two inches to this length and you have the diameter of your table skirt. Cut two lengths of fabric as long as the measurements you took from the table. Cut one of the lengths of fabric in half lengthwise so that you now have three pieces of fabric. Pin one of the smaller pieces of fabric to each of the selvedge edges (outside edges of the fabric that are not the frayed edges your cut) and sew the smaller pieces of fabric to the big pie
