Designing a T-shirt can be a costly endeavor, preventing most people from attempting to create their own graphics for T-shirts. Luckily, you can have T-shirts custom- printed on demand online through companies such as CafePress. There is no set-up fee or printing cost out of pocket, and if you sell your T-shirts you’ll make a profit from each one. Open a new file in Adobe Photoshop by clicking “File” at the top of the screen and then clicking “New.” A window will appear requesting the dimensions of your new image. Size the image to be 2000 pixels high by 2000 pixels wide, using a 300 DPI or dots per inch resolution. Double click on the colored box inside the vertical tool box on the right side of the screen. A window will appear showing a color scale. Click anywhere on the color scale to select your color. Click on the “Paint Bucket” tool inside the tool box. Click anywhere on your image to fill your background with your selected color. Click on the capital “T” located in the tool box.
