How Do You Make A Surfboard Wall Rack?

0

Most surfers need a safe place to store their boards and many of the surfboard wall racks on the market today are very expensive. So, I came up with an inexpensive way to create my own. The whole assembly costs less than $8. First, using the stud finder, find two studs about 4 feet apart and mark them. Second, measure from the ceiling down to both of your points to make sure the two points are level. The points should be at least 3 feet from the ceiling. Third, pre-drill hole for hook. Not necessary, but will make it easier to screw in hook. Forth, Place screw end of ladder hook on point and rotate clockwise, until the screw is all the way in and hook is pointing up. Do the same for the second ladder hook Fifth, screw eye hooks in between the two ladder hooks. One eye hook about 3 feet above the ladder hooks and one about 4 inches below the ladder hooks. Sixth, place surfboard, fin side away from the wall, on top of ladder hooks and tilt board back towards the wall. Seventh, attach bun
