A support group pamphlet is a kind of advertisement. Your pamphlet can educate people about the problem your support group serves to address, but the most important thing is for it to get people in the door in the first place. A good support group pamphlet should say who you are, what you do and how you can help in a friendly, accessible way. Write a title at the top of the first page telling who you are and what this pamphlet is for. It could just say your name or allude to what you do. For example, a cat huffing recovery group might have a title like “You Can Quit Huffing.” Begin with a basic explanation of who your support group is and what it does. You should include information about the region and community you serve, what you do for that community, whether you are part of a national chapter and what beliefs or religious affiliations you have as an organization. You can use bullet points or paragraph format, but the entire explanation should not be longer than a paragraph or two
