How Do You Make A Summer Bulletin Board?
With warm weather here and the months of school dwindling down to summer break, you may be wondering what kind of bulletin board you can use to get your students excited about the approach of summer. Here is one that you can try. Measure and hang up a large piece of blue butcher paper to cover the bulletin board area. Staple it in place. Cut out purple and pink flower shapes to staple around the border of the paper. Cut out an oval shape for a bee’s body out of yellow construction paper. Make one bee body for each student. Cut out strips of black construction paper to make the bee’s stripes. Do this for each bee. You can even have your students glue the strips on their own personal bee for this step. Take blank lined paper on 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper and cut into the shape of wings. Have students write a poem on the lined paper.
