Guarantee hours of fun with a homemade floating toy boat. Cut the milk carton longways in half and place it with the inside face up. Punch holes in four corners of the milk carton 1 inch from the top of each corner. Make a “T” with the first two straws by taping one straw horizontally to the top of the other. This will make the mast of the boat. The vertical straw is the main straw and the horizontal straw is one sail. Tape the third straw 2 or 3 inches from the bottom of the main straw. This is the other sail. Tape plastic wrap between the two sails. Tape the bottom of mast to the inside of the milk carton. Tie thread or string through a hole and extend it to top of the mast and tie there. Complete this step three more times until all holes have thread or string tied from them to the top of the mast. Color or paint the boat.
