How Do You Make A Strawberry-Kiwi Martini?
A strawberry-kiwi martini is a simple, easy-to-make cocktail that is unique and refreshing. Versatile in nature, you can serve strawberry-kiwi martinis during an elegant dinner party or at a casual cocktail party. Though typically made with fresh fruit, you can substitute frozen fruit if you let it thaw and squeeze some of the excess water content out. This recipe makes two strawberry-kiwi martinis, though it is easily doubled for larger groups and events. Put the strawberries and kiwi in a blender and puree on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds, or until the fruit is nearly liquefied. Transfer two tablespoons of the fruit puree to a cocktail shaker and add the vodka, crème de framboise, lime juice and crushed ice. Cover the cocktail shaker and shake gently for 20 to 30 seconds. Do not shake too hard, as you might bruise the alcohol. Strain the cocktails into two chilled martini glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and serve immediately.
