How Do You Make A Strawberry Jello Upside Down Cake?
For those of you that want to make an upside down cake but either don’t like pineapple or want to try something new, you have to try this recipe. My kids and I created it by accident. It is tasty and fun. Thaw out the strawberries. Mix the yellow cake mix according to the directions on the back of the box. Grease and lightly flour both pans. Pour the cake batter evenly into both pans. Set aside. Mix up the Jello mix according to the direction on the box. Most mixes will call for one cup boiling water till dissolved and then one cup cold water. These are the general directions to follow. Once all the water is added and the mix is dissolved add the entire container of the thawed strawberries. Mix together. It will be watery. Pour evenly over the cake mix in both pans. Take a spoon and swirl the Jello water into the cake mix. Place both pans into oven and bake. The cakes will be done when you can touch the top and it feels springy.
