Children will find it easy to simulate the movement of a ray by moving their hand and fingers inside the puppet. Draw the outline of a stingray (including tail) on the fabric and cut it out. Also cut two semi-circles for eyelids. Lay the body piece on the white felt and trace around the body section, not including the tail. Cut this piece out. It will be the underside. If you would like to add details to the underside, use the permanent marker to do this. The ray has a mouth and gill slits on its underside.
