How Do You Make A Stingray Hand Puppet?
Stingrays are beautiful ocean creatures that fascinate children. Their flat body shape makes them an excellent choice for an ocean creature hand puppet. Children will find it easy to simulate the movement of a ray by moving their hand and fingers inside the puppet. Draw the outline of a stingray (including tail) on the fabric and cut it out. Also cut two semi-circles for eyelids. Lay the body piece on the white felt and trace around the body section, not including the tail. Cut this piece out. It will be the underside. If you would like to add details to the underside, use the permanent marker to do this. The ray has a mouth and gill slits on its underside. Use a photo of a real stingray’s underside as a guide, for a more natural look. Put these two body pieces together and glue around the edge with fabric glue. Make sure not to glue across the bottom of the white felt. You will need this to be open so the hand can slide in. Glue on white pom-poms for eyes, using fabric glue. Glue semi
