How Do You Make A Star Lantern?
Star lanterns can be used as party decorations or to dress up a room. They are easy and inexpensive to make. Choose white, colored or decorative card stock or paper. You can also paint designs on the lanterns. A light is generally inserted into a star lantern, but they are decorative with or without lights. Print a star lantern template onto the paper you wish to use. If you are using a printed paper or card stock, print the template on the blank side of the paper. Cut out the modules with a pair of scissors. Cut the paper along the solid lines. Fold and crease the paper on the dashed lines. Place glue on the tab on the side of a module and press it against the inside of the last flap to form a cone. Crease the upper tabs to the outside of the cone. Glue the other modules together. You will have five cones. Glue the cones together. Glue the tabs on the top of a cone to the inside of another cone. Glue the other cones together.
