A star box of any size can be made using the following method. It is made basically by cutting a star shaped base, and folding and gluing or taping a long rectangle around its perimeter to make the sides. The process is the same to make the base and the lid. Make a star template. Open a Microsoft Word Document. Click “Insert” then “Picture” then “Autoshapes”. Click on the star shaped icon, and select the five-pointed star. A star will appear on your document. Adjust the size of the star to the size desired for the base of your box, and print the star on regular paper to use as a template. Measure one of the sides of the star, and multiply the number by 10 to determine the total length of the perimeter of your box. Make a template for the side piece of the box by drawing a rectangle with a length equal to the perimeter of the star, and a height the desired height of your box.
