How Do You Make A “Stained Glass” Picture With Aluminum Foil?
This is an easy and fun craft that kids can make for all occasions. Making a “stained glass” picture with easy materials is simple to do and your kids will enjoy the creativity involved. Cover a paper plate in aluminum foil. The back of the plate is the work surface–make sure the shiny side of the foil is facing out. Draw a simple design on a piece of paper. Do it in “stained glass” style, with all of the different parts of the picture outlined in black. It should look like a picture from a coloring book. Trace this design onto a piece of plastic wrap with a black permanent marker. Have your child color in the picture with the different colors of permanent marker. Those spaces left uncolored will show up silver in the final picture. Once the picture is colored, place the plastic wrap, colors on the inside, on the plate with foil. Secure with tape on the other side of the plate.
