How Do You Make A Spinning Card Levitate?
This magic trick is sure to impress your audience. Using just an ordinary playing card, you will magically make it appear to spin and levitate. After the magic trick, invite your audience to inspect the card so that they can see it is a normal playing card. Measure from your earlobe to your groin with a piece of magician’s thread and cut it to that length. Affix one end of the thread to the back of your earlobe with a small piece of magician’s wax. Put the other end of the thread to the top of the thumbnail on your left hand. Make these preparations before doing the magic trick, not in front of your audience. Hand the deck of cards to an audience member and instruct her to shuffle the deck. Take the deck back from the audience member using your left hand. Handle the cards and discretely push the wax from your thumbnail with one of your fingers to the exact center of the back of the top playing card.
