How Do You Make A Spider Nest For Halloween?
Give your trick or treaters a true fright by making a huge spider nest to rest on your front porch. With a bit of a child’s imagination, this creepy spider nest will come to life with real spiders. Make the nest seem more realistic when you place a giant mama spider nearby. Wrap a large Styrofoam ball with blinking twinkle lights. Use orange Halloween lights for a creepier effect. Cover the lights and ball with a thick layer of fiberfill. Pull out a piece of fiberfill from the top of the ball, thinning it out to look like a spider web. Spread black plastic spiders over the entire ball. Tuck the spiders under a thin layer of the fiberfill. Place the spider nest in an area of your front porch that is visible. Use an extension cord to plug in the lights when necessary. Attach the stretched fiberfill from the top of the nest to the side of your house, a window or other item on your front porch.
