How Do You Make A Snowman From A Sock?
These snow men are adorable and easy to make. It can be a project with the kids if you like, or you can make them yourself. They make great table center pieces in the winter! My 4 and 6 year old grandchildren made these the last time they visited and the 4 yr old said her favorite thing during her time with grandma and papa was making her snow man! Put them away during the summer and bring them back out when you unpack your Christmas decorations! Keep them out all through the winter. ASSEMBLE ALL ITEMS You will need one each of the following items for each snowman… ~ Adult size white man’s crew sock (new, or at least in good shape!) ~ An old colored sock, men’s or women’s, without a hole in the toe ~ Buttons or plastic craft eyes ~ Orange felt ~ Red yarn for the mouth ~ White string ~ Small yarn balls for the top of the snowman’ s hat (optional) ~ Colorful material for the scarf ~ A large bag of rice or enough sand to fill the sock.
