Making a snowman Christmas snow globe is a craft that people of any age can enjoy. Although small children need supervision with this project, they will love to create their own snow globes for gifts or decorations this holiday season. These crafts, made from a jar and a few basic materials, make your home sparkle. They also make great gifts for children to give to their teachers. Choose a jar for your snow globe. It should be clean and have a tight fitting lid. Use any size jar, just make sure your ornament or figurine can fit inside comfortably with the lid closed. Paint the outside of the jar’s lid with red or green craft paint. Place some hot glue on the center of the inside of your jar lid, and secure your snowman ornament or figurine to it. Place some additional hot glue in the lid, and sprinkle on some fake plastic snow to cover the rest of the inside of the lid’s surface around the snowman’s feet if you wish.
