How Do You Make A Slow Cooked Boston Butt Dinner?

I like to make this for my family of 8 at least once a week.I can make this meal and we can eat this dish and have plenty of leftovers for another meal. With this economy we need to make everything go as far as it can. Also a boston butt is a pork roast for those who don’t know. Step 1 Turn slow cooker on Hi.If your slow cooker has a temp gauge like mine does then set it at 350 degrees. Wash your boston butt and trim away any fat.Add about 1 gallon of water to your roast. If you have a smaller pot then fill water half-way.Let your (5-10lbs)boston butt roast cook for at least 10-12hrs. Step 2 Add 3 oz of white distilled vinegar.Add Boston Butt and 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Step 3 Add Mrs.Dash and BBQ sauce after your roast has cooked for at least 10hrs.Remove butt from pot and freeze or serve over rice.
