How Do You Make A Skittles Drink?
If you were around in the 70’s you probably remember the days of making Kaluha from vodka, instant coffee, and vanilla beans. Today there is a whole new era of creating specialty drinks from a bottle of vodka. Try using skittles to flavor up a bottle of vodka for an exciting summer drink that is sure to have your guests talking. Pour one package of Skittles in a bowl. Remove all the purple (grape) and green (lime) Skittles from the bowl. Discard or eat these Skittles, but do not add them to the mixture. They create a strange flavor in combination with the other Skittles and the color of your finished product will be dull and unattractive. Open a bottle of vodka and pour off about 1/2 cup of vodka. Store in a sealed container. Be sure to label it for future use. Pour the Skittles into the bottle of vodka using a funnel or drop them in by hand.
