How Do You Make A Singers Sore Throat Remedy?
This warm tea-based drink recipe was given to me by a famous singer who happened into a club I was performing in years ago. Our lead singer had a lot of congestion that night, and the professional singer generously gave us his recipe for keeping the voice clear and soothed while singing (or speaking). In a teapot or saucepan, heat (just before boiling) enough water to fill one tea or coffee mug. Choose a tea bag (herbal is best) or place loose leaf tea in a steeper, and put in the mug. Pour hot water over the tea bag or steeper, until the mug is almost full (leave about an inch of space at the top). Let steep until the tea is the strength you prefer. Remove tea bag or steeper from mug. Add 1 Tablespoon each of Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon Juice, and Honey to the brewed tea. Stir until blended. Drink up! You’ll find your throat and voice feeling soothed right away.
