Making vegetable broth is simple to make, all it takes is a little time and you will be glad you made the effort. Broth can be used for soups, gravy, or as a beverage. All the vitamins from the vegetables will be in this broth. With three ingredients you can make an amazing vegetable broth to be used right away, frozen or it can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks. Ingredients: Water 3 onions 5 celery stalks 5 full size carrots or a bag of small carrots 1 T. salt Things you will need: Large pot Large spoon Slotted spoon Sieve or strainer Cheesecloth Put enough water to fill half the pot. Place on stove with medium heat. Add salt. Bring to a boil. Chop onions, celery and carrots and add to boiling water. Bring back to a boil and lower the flame to low to have a slow simmer.
