Making decorative items from seed beads doesn’t have to be hard or take very much time. If you have the necessary materials, some simple instructions and a little bit of time, you can create items to use for jewelry, hair accents or home decor. Develop a design for your seed bead flower-you can make a daisy or a flower with multiple rows of petals. Draw your design on a sheet of paper so you have a blueprint to follow. Use colored pencils or markers to designate different bead colors; this way, you’ll know where you are as you are stringing beads. Begin to string beads on the wire, following the design you developed earlier. Do not cut the wire-this step will come after you have finished the bead-stringing step.
