How Do You Make A Simple Crossbow?
The crossbow can be a very accurate and deadly weapon. Many of today’s hunters and sharpshooters use crossbows that range from $300 to $2,000. If you are interested in archery or hunting, but cannot afford a professional crossbow, follow these steps to learn how to build one yourself. Gather your materials. You will need the butt of a rifle, a trigger, a spring, a piece of strong rubber (try using surgical rubber) and two pieces of pipe. One pipe must be of lesser length and width than the other. Connect the longer pipe to the gun butt. You can do this by drilling a hole into the gun butt. Make sure that you measure the pipe so that it fits tightly into the hole. Also, it is important for accuracy that the pipe points straight out. Connect the smaller pipe to the longer pipe. Drill a hole at the end of long pipe and insert the smaller pipe, forming a T. Tie the intersection so that the pipes are secure. Connect the trigger. Decide where you want to place the trigger, then drill a hole
