Homemade silver polishing cloths can be washed and reused until the fabric is no longer in decent shape. Cut pieces of soft cloth to the size you want using scissors. A good size is approximately 5 inches square, because the fabric does not bunch up too much or become awkward to handle. Any soft fabric will work well, such as flannel or old cloth diapers. Mix 1/2 cup lemon juice with 1 tsp. olive oil in a bowl large enough to hold the cleaning solution and the fabric. Dip the cut fabric square into the olive oil and lemon juice.
