Shrinky Dink crafts are a favorite among children because they appear magical: A large Shrinky Dink dwindles down to half its size when it is baked in the oven. Shrinky Dinks can be made at any season or for any object. The Shrinky Dink craft described here is an igloo. The igloo is appropriate during the winter. Children can learn about igloos in science class and then can complete this craft to serve as a reminder. Step 1 Pick up a package of Shrinky Dink sheets. If your craft store doesn’t have any you can purchase them from the original makers of Shrinky Dink (see Resources below). Step 2 Take out a Shrinky Dink sheet and hold the rough side out in front of you. This is the side that you are going to work with.
