Shower curtains appear to be made with twelve holes for hooks, so if there are twelve hooks, this should work out evenly. Many of us have found that the shower curtain is one of the most unsuccessful embellishments of the modern home. Many homemakers do not find the shower curtain to be an easy project, and hopefully this will make it safe and more usable for you. Place the twelve hooks on the shower curtain rod, all with the attractive or fancy side out. Fold the fabric shower curtain in half with the right sides out. Use only SIX of the twelve hooks, and start at one wall or the other, whichever way you want the curtain to show. Place it on the side opposite where you want to get into the shower. Put the OPEN side against the wall. You will place TWO holes in each hook for the six hooks on one side only.
