How Do You Make A Shamrock Key Chain?
Add some extra luck to your St. Patrick’s Day when you tote your keys on a lucky shamrock key chain. There’s no need to remove this fun fob when St. Patrick’s Day is over. You can enjoy the luck of the Irish year round. Combine the 2 clay colors by kneading them gently. Kneed the clay just enough for the 2 colors to stick together, imparting a swirly look to the clay. Roll the clay into three 1-inch balls. Form each ball into a heart shape. Push the points of all three hearts together until they stick. Set one end of a paper clip on the shamrock where the points connect. Leave the other end hanging from the shamrock like a stem. Put a small, flattened ball of clay on the first end of the shamrock and squish it in place. Gently turn the shamrock over. Use a sharp pencil to make a center line in each heart. Bake the shamrock according to the clay manufacturer’s instructions. Let the shamrock thoroughly cool. Slide the paper clip end onto a split key ring.
