A set design portfolio will demonstrate a scenic designer’s work for potential employers. The quality of the portfolio will show the amount of time and effort spent which will give the impression of the commitment and care the designer has for each project. There are a few rules to follow when putting together a set design portfolio. Choose the work to represent wisely. There work in your portfolio should not only be your best work, but should vary to show your range of talents as a scenic designer. Consider the order of the content in the portfolio carefully.
