How Do You Make A Scarecrow For Halloween?
The picture of this charming scarecrow was taken nearly 40 years ago. Though today it may be difficult to find an old abandoned country house like this to rent for a night, this easy to make scarecrow will serve as a great Halloween party sentinel, regardless of the location. Start the construction of the Halloween scarecrow by buttoning every button on the shirt, including the cuffs. Zip up the jeans and fasten the top tab. Turn buttoned shirt and sleeves wrong side out. Sew the work gloves for the scarecrow to the shirt cuffs by inserting the gloves (right side out) up inside through the arms of the shirt sleeves. Pin together, making sure opening edges of the work gloves and the shirt cuffs are even. Sew together by hand. (Note the thumbs of the gloves should be facing correctly when shirt is eventually turned right side out.)
