Place it on the stove and set it to medium heat. Let it sit on the heat until it almost reaches boiling point. Once you see bubbles form at the bottom, you can take it off the heat. Step 2 Add the salt and baking soda and stir until completely dissolved. It should only take a minute to complete. The end product will have a cloudy color. Step 3 Take the funnel and slowly pour the saline solution into the storage container. Let the solution cool down to room temperature before using it. It is best when used within six months of making it. Store at room temperature.
