How Do You Make A Rock Fountain?
You will learn how to build a hidden water rock fountain. First you want to find a rock that you like. I used a flat rock for my fountain. Also find the location you want the fountain to be at. Make sure that there is an outlet close by for the pump. Dig the hole for the fountain 10″ to 12″ deep and about 2″ bigger then the rock. Once this is dug place rubber liner in hole making sure that it comes up on to the flat ground about 3″ all the way around. The size of the liner depends on the size of the rock and depth of hole. Once liner is in hole place the cinder block into hole. Depending on the size of rock you may need to build up the cinder block. If the rock is round then the bottom of the rock will just be down in the hole. Find the position of the rock as it will sit for the fountain. Locate the area you want the water to come out of and mark that spot. Take the hammer drill with the bit that is sized for the tubing that you have for the pump an drill the hole in the rock.
