How Do You Make A Ribbon Embroidery Rose?
Ribbon embroidery is a needlework craft that is unique. Many of the ways to make ribbon embroidery attachments are not ever used in thread embroidery–so if you like to embroider, you may like to learn a little about ribbon embroidery. The roses are raised in ribbon embroidery, and these are attached after they are made. Prepare the ribbon. Cut two lengths of the ribbon of your color choice in about 9 inch length each. Consider a color scheme you have in mind, since you may want to use this ribbon embroidery rose for a flower cluster. Start folding at one end. Place the pieces of ribbon at right angles to each other and fold one over the other. We did this with paper as children to make the necks of animals and Christmas ornaments. Make an accordion fold. Continue to fold one over the other until all the ribbon is used. This creates an accordion design. Pull one end only.
