In our fast-paced lives we need moments to just relax and take it easy. Taking a long, hot bath usually does the trick. However, when we include the use of a relaxing herbal bath oil it seems that we relax that much more. For the purpose of this article, we will make a relaxing herbal bath oil using lavender. Place one cup of dried lavender in a glass jar. Fill the jar with 2 cups of almond oil. Tighten the lid on the jar and shake (not too vigorously) for a couple of minutes. Place the jar where it will not be disturbed. Make sure the jar is away from direct sunlight. Leave the jar alone for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, open the jar and strain the lavender from the oil.
