How Do You Make A Recycled Glass Hummingbird Feeder?
Hummingbirds are one of nature’s most beautiful, delicate-looking creatures, with glistening little bodies supported by rapidly-beating wings. Attract hummingbirds to your yard by hanging a hummingbird feeder. While you can purchase a feeder, it is fun and rewarding to make one yourself out of a glass bottle. File the ends of the wire so they are not sharp. Wrap one end of the wire into a circle loosely around the neck of the bottle twice. Wrap the rest of the wire around the bottle in any fashion you please. Make sure that your design is loose enough to remove so you can refill the bottle when it runs out. Bend the last 18 inches of wire into a half-circle over the bottom of the bottle. Bend the ends of the half circle into open loops. Attach them to the wire wrapped around the bottle.
