How Do You Make A Recyclable Toy Car?
If the kids are stuck inside on a cold or rainy day and you don’t want them to sit and watch yet another DVD, why not teach them how to make a toy car that they can pretend to drive? This one takes only about 20 minutes to make but can encourage hours of creative play. Then sit it on the ground so that the bottom of the box is facing upward. Place your compass in the exact center of the box and draw a 12-inch circle. Use the X-acto knife to cut out the circle, being careful not to create any jagged edges. Ask your child to step into the hole you created to see if the box fits around his waist.
