Using a ruler, measure out the sides of the shape. For a 4-inch box, measure out 4 inches for the side, and 2 inches for the ends. Make sure to add the tabs that are on the sides and ends in the picture. Each tab should be 1/4 inch wide and 1 inch long. (In the diagram, they are colored green and blue for reference.) Using scissors, cut out the box carefully, making sure to include the tabs. Once the box is completely cut out, fold in all of the tabs. Fold each side on the line, towards the bottom.
