How Do You Make A Rare Peanut Butter Pie For Peanut Butter Lovers?
Most people have never heard of this pie when I mention it during a conversation about cooking for the holidays or a birthday. They kind of envision a pie full of peanut butter and don’t get too excited about it. It’s actually more like the inside of a peanut butter cup! I have yet to go to any function in my life and see this type of pie being offered. This recipe was passed down in my family from my mother and is a raving hit with the peanut butter lovers of the family. It is a “must” for my son’s birthday as his favorite and for all holidays so beware!.. you might get hooked! Combine flour and brown sugar in bowl and mix thoroughly to make sure there are no lumps in the sugar. Separate egg yolks from whites and whip together with the milk then slowly pour into dry mixture over medium/high heat in a thick pan on stove.
